A Home Inspector who Knows How to Educate
Second Act Inspections is owned and operated by licensed New Jersey home inspector Jerry Ridder, P.E., who chose the inspection industry as the “second act” to his career after retiring from the engineering field. Jerry takes his training as a home inspector seriously and has years of experience and knowledge that comes in handy while working with his clients, including 35 years as a homeowner himself, experience in residential construction, and previous ownership of his own handyman company.
When it comes to the systems and components in a home, Jerry has seen, built, repaired, and maintained them all and is eager to share everything he knows with his clients. Building on his years of experience in conducting complex training classes for industrial systems, he knows how to take a home’s most complicated issues and turn them into easy-to-understand, solvable actions for home buyers. Jerry has experience in the following areas:
- Building installation and techniques
- Home renovation
- Complete kitchen rebuilds
- Bathroom remodels
- Electrical panel and subpanel upgrades
- Standby generator installations
- Solar panel system installation
- And more!
Genuine Concern for His Clients
When it comes to customer care and offering the best service possible to home buyers, nobody puts as much effort in as Jerry. He understands that most buyers aren’t aware of all of the necessary care and maintenance a home requires after purchase, so he makes a point of answering every question his clients can think of and guiding them step-by-step through what homeownership will entail.
